Ng
Laboratory Technician and Research Assistant

Molly started volunteering in the lab in June 2013.  She graduated from UCLA and worked there in Lawren Sack's lab studying leaf veination and ecological physiology.  She is working on several projects in Zingiberales, most notably characterization of phytoliths in the extant and fossil record and will also assist with developing leaf characters that can be useful for understanding evolutionary relationships of fossil leaf material in the Zingiberales.

Molly is continuing research as a graduate student at the University of Michigan (starting Fall 2015), working toward her PhD with Dr. Selena Y. Smith.
